Join me in this conversation as I share with you the three social media myths slowing down your growth.
Myth #1. talks about your followers count as a vanity metric that doesn’t matter. It does matter because if you're not growing your account, you are not reaching new people or having a new audience. However, you can buy thousands of followers who aren't interested in what you are selling. That is why to some extent, this myth is true.
Myth #2. If you are just consistent, things will grow. If you're not posting good and engaging content, it does not matter the consistency. It only matters with what you are posting. Quality is more important than quantity.
Post consistently, but make sure it is good quality. Don't just rely on throwing content for your audience.
“Consistency is important, but the quality is more important than quantity.”
Myth #3. You need to be on all social media platforms. You don't need to be on all social media platforms, but you must be where your ideal clients are. By focusing on Instagram, for instance, you might miss other platforms where your audience is.
